The House of God
If a builder orally describes to a group of workers the many features of his proposed dwelling place, it will soon be realized that much explanation and discussion is forthcoming to clarify the many details of such a project. Even though such explaining is done with care, each listening person will form his own visual concept of this home's layout according to one's ability of comprehension in such matters. On the other hand, if the homebuilder produces a plan of this proposed dwelling the need for explaining features and specifications becomes much easier for all concerned. As a matter of fact, the visual contact with this plan brings a united and organized awareness to the scope of the work at hand. Furthermore, the plan removes the "guess work" and brings through the use of symbolic lines, figures, and notes, a precise concept, which can then be brought to reality.
The above example can also be applied to "The House of God." The Old and New testaments are full of symbolism - symbolic elements that explain ideas, actions , and expressions of faith in God. In order to convey an understanding of the innermost functions and dimensions of God's dwelling place, "The Plan Symbol of the Most Holy Trinity" has been prepared for this purpose. ( See Plan 1,2, & 3. )
